On the site you will find information presented in several different formats:

• Displayed on the website.  This method is typically used for subjects that can be answered in a few paragraphs.

• Downloadable PDF files.  These are standard Adobe files that will appear in an Adobe Reader and can be printed out for future reference.  Examples of this method are the Installation, Quick Start and Manual.  If you do not have the Adobe Reader, one can be obtained on the Internet by Googling "Adobe Reader".  It is always free, and available from many sources.  The screen shots in the PDF files have been converted to grey scale images to provide better printing and easier reading.

• Downloadable .zip files that are actually used by the program.  SCS cannot provide Machine Condition files over the internet since these are proprietary to Mitsubishi and MC Machinery Systems, Inc.

It is important to note that if you download files for your machine from this site, you should back up your existing files before replacing them.  This cannot be over emphasized. A simple method is to use a memory stick device to copy your entire EdgeLaser folder.  It is inexpensive and provides a lot of security.

Information is added to the site on a regular basis as the need arises.  Currently, EdgeLaser is a very stable product, therefore website updates are not very frequent.  However, it does pay to make a visit from time to time.
